Celebrating the contact center industry at the UK National Contact Center Awards

The 15th May saw the Call Center Management Association’s (CCMA) annual UK National Contact Center Awards, which brings together professionals from the contact center industry to recognise their achievements and dedication to excellent customer experience.

Having been running for over 20 years, Diabolocom were delighted to be one of the sponsors for such a prestigious industry event.

The awards’ Gala Dinner took place in the glamorous setting of The Brewery, London, where a range of finalists from organisations of all sizes, including Tesco Bank, Sky and Barclaycard, turned out to celebrate.

The call center industry, and the call agent specifically, is often subjected to criticism. Therefore, we were proud to be part of an event which supports the fantastic work of these professionals and their drive to enhance the industry’s reputation. The awards commend those who continually deliver expert customer service and strive to be a benchmark for their industry. Commitment to a positive and nurturing work environment is therefore an essential for those call centers nominated.

Those who are shortlisted first face a demanding judging process which includes interviews and on-site visits- demonstrating the standard and quality expected of a UK National Contact Center award winner!

The awards nominations are divided into Individual, Team and Organisation categories. This ensures that every role receives a spotlight for its efforts, overall teamwork is rewarded and that call centers are recognised for their employee engagement and passion for superior customer service.

The awards’ highlights “role-models” in the contact center profession, and it was wonderful to see the pride of the nominees and winners.

Acclaimed dancer and past winner of Britain’s Got Talent, Ashley Banjo, was also in attendance to deliver the awards.

We cannot wait for next year’s UK National Contact Center Awards!
